Committee Bio

UNHRC is an advanced General Assembly committee. Delegates will be assigned a country to represent; however, no topics will be given in advance. In other words, a background guide with an introduction and the two topics will be given at the start of committee, with a brief reading period. Delegates should prepare for this committee by researching their country’s stance and past actions taken related to human rights in the past 40 years. No position papers shall be required for this committee. This is a double delegate committee intended for advanced delegates with prior GA experience.
